Clarice McDermott Wilson, RN BSN FNP-S
Founder of The Essence — Where Beauty Meets Spirit
With nearly two decades of nursing experience, Clarice McDermott Wilson founded The Essence as an extension of her lifelong commitment to healing, alignment, and whole-person care.
As the owner of Purnama, a yoga and holistic wellness business rooted in mindfulness, breathwork, and intentional living, Clarice has long believed that true beauty begins within. The Essence was born as a natural evolution of that philosophy — blending medical aesthetics with holistic health to support both internal vitality and external refinement.
Her clinical background spans acute care, emergency services, perioperative nursing, behavioral health, and nursing leadership. Currently advancing her education as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Clarice brings advanced anatomical knowledge, safety-focused practice, and structural precision to every aesthetic treatment.
But her approach goes beyond technique.
At The Essence, treatments are guided by balance — enhancing natural features without altering identity. Whether through neurotoxins, dermal fillers, collagen-stimulating biostimulators, or metabolic wellness support, each plan is individualized and intentional.
